I remember when I was at the scene of a pretty bad shark attack age 12 at the beach and there was a girl bleeding profusely from the location of the bite. I was absolutely disgusted by how the people were reacting. I believe there is absolutely a need for more people with the reserve and determination to take charge and help resolve even the worst situations like Nutnfancy. And I Sprang into action but he wasnt chocking, and I am still made fun of that today. Very good story and video, it mirrors the true of the lone responder and all of your lessons are very good. As a firefighter/EMT + Registered Nurse I carry around an extended emerg. bag in my car, and I had to use it sometimes. If you are identified as the “expert”, people will leave you alone to deal with it. And if you pull out your bag, you have to deal with the jokers about your “hero complex”. Sad but true.but I really don’t care.
