Travel luggage is designed for professionals, sportsmen, men, women, kids and even animals. Luggage is manufactured all over the worlds so you will not have any trouble finding the perfect bag to carry your items.
When purchasing luggage find luggage that is durable and it has reinforced edges to help protect against bumping and throwing when being handled. When packing your clothes make a list of what you need this will speed up the packing process and if you bags get lost you will have a record of what is in inside the bag. Waiting on line to check your bags or getting your bags lost is no way to travel, bring your luggage on the plain with you and you can bypass the hassle of it all.
When choosing luggage make sure you research the weight of the bag because this will add to the weight allowance of the bag. Most have a weight limit or a quantity limit. It is much easier to use wheeled suitcases, and most of the travelers will agree if you are going to travel and you need to carry all of your belongings you need wheels, it is much easier to wheel luggage than to carry it.
There are many types of luggage tags available in the market. Luggage tags are now or can be as unique as you are. Luggage tags now are made of durable plastic. When traveling make sure you remove any old tags that are on your luggage, if you don’t this might make your luggage be misrouted. In order to possibly prevent the misrouting of your luggage be sure any old flight information tags or information is removed from your luggage.
There are so many different styles and types of luggage on the market computer cases, leather briefcases, carry-on cases, totes, garment bags, kids luggage, garment carriers, duffel bags, backpacks. Moreover, leather luggage is heavier than others. Most quality brands of leather luggage have a definite style and elegance to them. With leather luggage, the handle is usually made of leather as well, which is very comfortable on your hands.
Using a bright tag on your luggage will help you see your bag quickly when trying to retrieve it and help from being stolen. Having a small carry on bag is convenient but not if you have to waste your supplies. If you are going on holiday then you will need a bag that is big enough to take all of your clothes, but do not forget that you will need to make some space for the things that you buy.
The wheels will make it easier for you to stroll through the airport, bus terminal, or a railway station. Some brands of kid’s luggage have wheels that are gender based. Using carry online luggage with wheels is a real time saver, you do not need to waste your time waiting for your luggage so get the flight crew type of luggage with extendible handles and wheels that fit in the overhead bins.
Included in kid’s luggage are backpacks with animals that âhugâ your child. Any parent who has ever shopped for school backpacks knows that a backpack is more than a bag for carrying books; the color, the features, and the design of backpacks are all important to a child, teen, or college student.

Luggage? I have never owned a set of suitcases. I need help choosing which brand to buy.?
I want to make sure that is not too expensive and that it will be durable and won't fall apart while it's being thrown around in the airports. Thanks for your feedback. I am traveling international and may be traveling maybe 3 to 4 times out of the year. That's how often it will be used.
Are those sets at JcPenney worth buying? They seem so cheap that I am afraid.
I got a name brand set at JCP and really like it. It's been to Chicago, twice to Vegas, and other places that are too embarrassing to mention. It's a lovely paisley pattern that resembles tapestry. I'd rather have a set with cats all over it. Oh well, next time!

Whatever you do, don't buy cheap luggage… you'll end up having to replace or it will fall apart mid-trip - either way, in the long run, it will end up more expensive. Granted, you don't need to buy the top of the line (like Tumi), but something nice like Travelpro or Samsonite is always a good call.
A lot of department stores like Macy's and JCPenney have pretty good sales on their luggage - keep your eye out and you can get the nice stuff for a good price. Look for bags with good wheels and strong zippers.
One recommendation - think about getting a color other than black. It's much easier to spot when it's coming out on the luggage carousel.

I bought my husband a cheap 5 piece set from Macy I think I spent $50 (at Christmas time). This luggage has been great we use it all of the time for the past 5 yrs, with no problems. Just look at the luggage before you buy check out the seams ect.

if you want something dependable go and get a Samsonite I've had a cheap one I brought on line http://www.ebags.com
had for over 2 years and I do travel a lot it's still OK.
or go to one of your local discount stores.

Travel Pro is used heavily by flight attendents and my husband and I each have a set of Travel Pro.
Definitely - try to get something other than 'black' and the lighter material is good, but don't sacrifice quality — your luggage will definitely get its use so you want something that can sustain use.
I like luggage with wheels and compartments that you can unzip to remove (like a garmet bag or toiletries)
Happy travels –

If you want a bag that is durable but not on the high-end, I would suggest the Swiss Army werks collection by Victorinox. It is lightweight and comes with a fantastic warranty. If you buy luggage in a five piece set it is throw away luggage. For the amount you will be traveling this should last you a long time. You do not have to buy all the pieces at once you can buy one at a time as you need them. I would go to a reputable specialty luggage store and look at the different brands that are out their. Don't buy pruely on warranty either, just because it has a good warranty doen't mean it is a good bag. Here are a few more brands in the same price range as the werks collection. priced between $200-$300 dollars.
1.Swiss Werks
2.Briggs and Riley
3.Tumi T-tech
4.Pathfinder
5.Travel pro Crew
I find the Tumi comes in for repair the least of any of the bags but will be the most expensive out of the five I have listed.
I have managed a luggage store for over 4 years.
